Dr. Ronald Clyde Sumners (August 20, 1949 - December 29, 2016) was a pastor for over 40 years for churches in Kentucky, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Alabama.  He grew up in rural Shelby County, Alabama and retired in 2012 as pastor of Meadow Brook Baptist Church near Birmingham, Alabama.  He passed away on December 29, 2016, survived by his wife Karen (Prissy) Sumners, daughter Katie Kostakis (husband Johnathan), and son Sam Sumners.  Ron lived a life of integrity, purpose, and consequence.  This site shares many of Ron's sermons to honor his life and ministry.
